Amazon had begun to get some traction on a relatively new product, Fire TV, that was launched in 2014. With streaming platforms becoming widely adopted into most households, they wanted to start grabbing a larger share of the market. What made Fire TV different was not only could you “cut the cord,” you could turn any TV with an HDMI port into a streaming device.

All campaign assets drove you to Amazon’s Fire TV page. There you could learn more about the product, its features, its benefits, and dive deeper into why other people were cutting the cord, and if you were ready, you could cut the cord yourself.

We lit up Fire TV’s Instagram page with myths and facts about streaming, tips, and tricks, and leveraged the stories already captured as yet another digital avenue to find out why others were cutting the cord.
