After the success of Guitar Hero, Activision wanted to capture a new audience segment of the music gaming world. In 2009, they lanuched DJ Hero, which leveraged the hip-hop and electronic music fan bases. For its second installment DJ Hero 2, we came up with DJ Hero 2 “mixed together.” The campaign was centered around the idea of playing with friends, a theme that was carried out through the entire campaign.

Carry the idea of playing with friends through to the social space. We created a Facebook widget that allowed you to mix your face with a friends face. Creating fun and funny shareable social content, that also tied back to the concept of Dj's and mixing.
